Boys Town Room Makeover
From 2007 through 2011, Infinity has held a Boys Town Room Makeover. Each year, Infinity staff, family members, and friends spend a day working together in one of the homes on the Boys Town campus. We redecorate bedrooms by cleaning, repainting, hanging curtains, reupholstering bulletin boards, installing ceiling fans, providing new bedding and otherwise sprucing up the accommodations for the six young people living in each home. Infinity has also remodeled the kitchen and dining area of one home. These exciting projects also rely on the generous contributions of other local businesses that provide supplies and assistance.

Back To School Drive
Infinity believes that when children are prepared for school, they can walk into class on their first day feeling confident and excited about learning. From 2005 through 2009, Infinity proudly sponsored and organized an annual Back to School Drive. Each year, Infinity employees, family members, and other volunteers paired up with children from Florida Baptist Children’s Home for a special hour-long shopping spree at Beall’s Department Store in Tallahassee. During the shopping sprees, we purchased clothing and shoes for the children, and provided them with backpacks stocked with school supplies. Infinity is proud to have been part of a positive experience for these school-aged children.

More Corporate Projects
We've been At Work in Our Community for many years. Here are few examples of previous corporate community endeavors:
Hospice Supply Drive
In December 2010, Infinity held a donation drive to provide much-needed supplies to patients receiving hospice care. Items such as toiletries, nutritional supplements, blankets, towels, socks, and food were donated by employees and delivered to Big Bend Hospice just in time for the holidays.
Hurricane Katrina Dollar-Match Program
In September 2005, Infinity held the Hurricane Katrina Dollar-Match Program to benefit those devastated by the Katrina disaster in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Every dollar donated by employees was matched by Infinity and delivered to the Red Cross. Infinity raised over $4,000 to benefit those affected by this tragedy.
More Corporate Projects (continued)
We've been At Work in Our Community for many years. Here are few examples of previous corporate community endeavors:
Chess Challenge
Infinity sponsored a Chess Challenge in 2003 at Pineview Elementary School. The event, which promoted better reading and analytical skills (while having fun!), proved to be a wonderful opportunity for staff and the community to work together in educating our local youth.
Capital City Ride for Hope
Infinity has sponsored the Capital City Ride for Hope for the past several years. The Ride is a community cycling event to benefit the Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center, an affiliate of the H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute. Proceeds from the event support cancer patients in the Big Bend region by providing funds to the Tallahassee Memorial Cancer Center, where patients can receive comprehensive and compassionate care, close to home.
Big Bend Saltwater Classic
Infinity has sponsored the Big Bend Saltwater Classic fishing tournament. The tournament was launched in 1989 by The Organization for Artificial Reefs, Inc., (OAR), a private, non-profit, marine interest group based in Tallahassee. All of the proceeds derived from the event are used to expand and develop a system of artificial reefs in the Northeastern Gulf of Mexico, OAR's purview of operation.
Davis Productivity Awards
The Davis Productivity Awards program publicly recognizes and rewards state employees whose efforts increase productivity and promote innovation in the delivery of state services — thereby saving money for Florida citizens and businesses. Since the start of this program in 1989, the Davis Awards have recognized over $6 billion in savings to the people of Florida.
For the past several years, Infinity has been a sponsor and advocate of these awards, helping to fund cash prizes for the deserving recipients. As a partner in many current projects with the state of Florida, we are proud to work side by side with state employees and pleased to see them recognized for their efforts.
